AERE, from the Latin \u0101\u0113r, \u0101\u0115ris meaning air, is a multimedia installation that explores the nature of wind, understood as a complex and dynamic phenomenon that constantly reorganizes itself through turbulence and movement.
The installation consists of three light portals projected onto a wall, each containing a stream of particles that move in response to an ambient sound inspired by the wind. Using a LiDAR sensor positioned on the right side of the wall, every movement made in front of the projection becomes a disturbance within the system, altering the flow dynamics and the volume of the sound.
The result is an immersive audiovisual space in which the chaotic behavior of the wind translates into visible movement, revealing its sensitivity to change and its perpetual transformation influenced by external and internal factors.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The project was developed in TouchDesigner, using a GPU particle system that reacts to both an audio track and user interaction detected via a LiDAR sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement of the particles is linked to the sound, generating a fluid visual response that varies based on proximity and frequency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The composition is enclosed in three openings that act as portals, containing the flow of particles and revealing the continuous transformation of the wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
